My personal health journey began in 2014, when I was diagnosed with celiac disease. After years of feeling unwell, it was surreal to discover that just removing gluten from my diet could change my life.

I expected to fully feel better — no more bloating, abdominal pain, anxiety, irregular bowel movements, and finally being able to maintain a healthy weight. However, that was not the case. Removing gluten was not the only solution to healing my gut. My persistent gut symptoms opened up a whole different world of healing.

After seeing countless doctors, trying different protocols, and being told that a gluten-free diet was the cure, I felt unheard by conventional medicine. So I turned to more holistic, natural approaches — drawn to the idea that the body is one interconnected whole, not just a list of separate symptoms.

I came to understand that healing my gut symptoms went beyond simply removing gluten — it was about understanding which foods my body actually needed in order to heal, while also recognizing that gut health lays the foundation not only for digestion, but also for energy, mental health, immune function, hormone balance, nervous system regulation and overall wellbeing.

That curiosity ultimately shaped my education. I earned my BSc in Neuroscience at University of Vermont, USA, where I became fascinated by the gut-brain axis and learned how nervous system dysregulation can be an underlying root of many illnesses. Still deeply intrigued by the powerful influence of food on health, I then pursued a Master's in Nutrition and Health at Wageningen University & Research, NL to deepen my understanding of the science behind food and health, and to learn how food and lifestyle can truly be medicine.

It wasn't until I began addressing different aspects of my health and lifestyle, as well as understanding how to use food to heal my gut, that I started to genuinely feel better.

Today, I bring together nutrition science, neuroscience, and my own lived experience to support people worldwide on a holistic, sustainable path toward truly nourishing their gut and their bodies for life.

I am currently based between Barcelona, Spain and Vermont, USA working with clients online.
